Nokia, Is this a Goal you Can Achieve?

Some of you will remember that I disavowed my relationship with Nokia after my disastrous N97 experience. However, womworldnokia.com brought me back to the fold via the Nokia E72.  Unfortunately, this has resulted in my being a three-phone carrier.  In no specific order, the rewards go to…
Mobile No1, the iPhone, sorry, but I can not remove myself from it or the appstore, they are in-built into my DNA. Mobile No2, the Nokia N82, for the imaging and xenon flash-to-die-for capability.  Mobile No3, the E72, for its business, battery, Oxford Dictionary and Gravity efficiency and keeping me up-to-date with all fingers in the social and symbian-pie.  [Yes, I am aware the iPhone does all that, but the iPhone battery still has plenty to learn and I have needs and goals that only a Nokia E72 can fulfill.

I can see a resolution here Nokia?  I remain unconvinced by your n-series and touch capability – be it either resistive or capacitive, but I am loving your E-series.  The build, and craftmanship are far superior to your previous handsets that I have owned, barring a little light leakage here and there. (With the exception of the 8800 series which were built to last and which I can not fault).  Make my next move the E-series s^4 with proven xenon image capture to match my Nokia N82 and then and only then,  you will be able finally to prise it from within my grasp.  In less than a year I want to be a two-phoner with the iPhone4 and Nokia E-series xenon s^4.  Nokia, is this a goal you can achieve?

Dell Latitude E5410, E5510 Notebooks Released

Besides the Latitude E4310 and 2110,Dell has released the Latitude E5410 and E5510 notebook PCs for business users.

The 14.1-inch E5410 and 15.6-inch E5510 feature the Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs or the new Intel Celeron P4500, all with dual cores, Intel HD graphics, up to 8GB RAM, up to 320GB hard drive or up to 128GB solid state storage, a DVD burner or Blu-ray drive, and Windows 7, Vista, or Ubuntu Linux OS.
The successors of the E5400 and E5500 optionally provide WiMAX and mobile broadband connectivity, as well as business-class security features.
The notebooks start at $759 and $789 USD, respectively, and are expected to be available soon.

Panasonic Unveils Fully-Rugged Toughbook 31

Panasonic has announced the Toughbook 31, “the most powerful fully-rugged notebook computer on the market”.

The Toughbook 31 features a 13.3-inch 1024×768 XGA touchscreen sunlight-viewable display, the Intel Core i3 or i5 processor, ATI Radeon HD5650 512MB dedicated video card, up to 8GB RAM, up to 250GB hard drive capacity or an optional 256GB solid state drive, optional DVD burner, and a battery life of up to 11 hours with a charging time up to 47% faster than the previous model.

Starting at 7.9 pounds, the laptop has a magnesium alloy case with a handle and meets MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards. It is water and dust resistant and has passed a 6-foot drop test.
Panasonic’s Toughbook 31 also includes an optional web camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optional WiMAX and Gobi2000 mobile broadband connectivity, a fingerprint reader.

Samsung Guru 1175: Multifunctional Mobile at Rs.1690

he Guru 1175 is the latest member of the Samsung Guru handset family. Nothing great about this handset but it does offer 23 hrs playback via FM Radio and 12 hours of talk time. It has a curvy design and a ergonomic grip. It packs the famous bike mode and fake caller found in most guru phones from Samsung.
The handset even packs a torch light which can run for around 38 hours on a single charge.

My Verdict

Samsung has launched a very affordable low-end phone- The Guru 1175. The handset features a FM Radio ,Torch, Advanced Mobile Tracker, Fake Call, Indian Calendar, Bike Mode, Voice key tones, Polyphonic ringtones, SOS message, 1MB memory  and 12 hours of battery life.

Ramcharan-Orange in Mumbai & Merupu in Chennai.

Ramcharan will be very busy this summer.He will be shooting for Orange, Maerupu and Mannathi Mannan.
He will shoot in Mumbai for a period of 10 days.The schedule in Mumbai would start from May 21st and end on the 31st of May. Few montage shots will be shot in and around Mumbai. The Montage shots are apparently useful for the movie’s essence and to capture the scenes camera man Kiran Reddy is all ready for the schedule.

Mani Ratnam's Raavan Movie Story Leaked!

This is Telugu & Hindi Ravanan's story. Vikram is an upright pole officer. He loves the classical dance Aishwarya Rai and gets married. After marriage, he has been transferred to a different place. He settles with his wife there. But there is no law and order there. The area is a tribal area. The headman Abhishek Bachchan is everything there. No one respects law and order. So Vikram feels that he can bring back law and order only if he finishes of Abhishek Bachchan. So he goes into the jungles in search of him. The struggle which takes between Aishwarya Rai, Vikram and Abhishek Bachchan in the jungles is the story. Though Manirathnam said that this is not a naxalites story, there is a talk that this film is about the naxalites leader Kobad Ghandy.

Anushka is fixed as heroine in Pawan Kalyan’s remake of LOVE AAJ KAL.Earlier director Jayant C Paranji wanted to cast Deepika Padukone as heroine but it didn’t work due to pressure from Botsa Satyanarayana.
But Jayant managed to get Deepika’s dates for a guest role in this movie.Infact its a small role in flashback where deepika romances pawan.Saif Ali Khan who is in RFC for a Hindi film shoot ‘Agent Vinodh’ expressed his happiness for Pawan doing the Telugu version of the film.Movie will go for regular shooting from July.
