Nokia, Vodafone Launch New Handset World Over

For Vodafone customers across the bar, Nokia has unveiled the new Nokia 6730 classic handset that’s due for launch in June exclusively by the provider. Mobile internet, Vodafone Music Client and personal and business email access along with mobile navigation capabilities are all included in the Nokia 6730 classic. The device runs on a Symbian Series 60 platform.
Peter Becker-Pennrich, Director of Terminals Marketing at Vodafone says "The Nokia 6730 is a great all-round handset - just as perfect for mobile internet users as for music fans who want to take their tracks with them. This product follows a successful line-up of Vodafone exclusive devices from Nokia and is another great example of our collaboration. "

The handset will feature -

  • Bluetooth with A2DP and USB (micro)
  • MicroSD card support
  • a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera
  • FM radio with RDS
  • 3G (HSDPA), EDGE/GPRS
  • GPS with Nokia Maps and A-GPS support

Although the handset has been announced for a June launch there’s still no price tag mentioned so stay tuned.
