Steam and Impulse now have a giant competitor in digital games distribution service market Microsoft. The software has now forayed in digital games distribution through Games on Demand service through free Games for Windows LIVE client. The PC games lineup at Games on Demand includes: Fallout 3, DiRT 2, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, Battlestations Pacific, FUEL, Viva Pinata, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, Shadowrun, Section 8, Juiced 2, and Red Faction: Guerrilla. As of now, Viva Pinata and Shadowrun are the two full games available with 50 per cent discount for $9.99 (Rs. 480 approx.) until January 4. Tinker, a puzzle game, is offered for free through this client.
Dragon Age: Origins for Mac Announced

Star Wars: Force Unleashed II Announced
At the Spike Video Game Awards, Lucas Arts announced the sequel to Force Unleashed in its Star Wars legacy. As a part of continuation of the Star Wars saga, this sequel is set between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. No details about the release date were revealed at the Awards but as the official site states; it'll arrive in sometime 2010. As a direct sequel to Star Wars: Force Unleashed, this new game shows Darth Vader's one time apprentice Starkiller in action. Along comes a gigantic creature capable enough to gobble down a Rancor for starters. Starkiller's lightsabers are now blue which indicate his transformation from Dark Side towards the Rebellion.
AoT: The 40th Day Demo Announced
Electronics Arts Montreal has officially announced Army of Two: The 40th Day's Demo availability on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE. Based on the co-op shooter Army of Two game, this sequel's demo would be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively on December 17. Demo for PlayStation Portable would be available on January 7 in North America and January 14 in Europe. The demo will comprise of the first level of the game that gives an experience of evolution with new co-op tactics and moves.
