Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has extended its academic schedule by two weeks to make up for the teaching hours lost due to 'T' tension.Class work will be conducted till April 26th
The authorities in a meeting held here on Saturday decided that the university examinations of II, III and IV year students which were to be held in the third week of April will now be held from May 10. The exams of first year students will begin from June 1.
D N Reddy, vice-chancellor, JNTU said that the principals of affiliated colleges of the university agreed that they would take extra classes on Saturdays to cover portions before the examinations begin.
"The college authorities have agreed to take extra classes on all Saturdays. They have also agreed to work on optional holidays to cover portions," Reddy said.
